This downtown Detroit editorial elopement was all about strong styling, incredible architecture and doing things a little differently. I loved collaborating with such a talented team of USA-based wedding vendors and getting to explore a city that has such a distinct visual character. We moved between the grand art deco interiors of the Fisher Building and the industrial architecture of Michigan Central Station. Getting to collaborate with a US-based creative team and photograph somewhere so visually different from home was a pretty special experience. It’s exactly the kind of work I love: a little editorial, a little unconventional, and always driven by the setting, the styling and the people bringing it all together.
